Faisalabad, September 17 - A significant development unfolded in Faisalabad as a delegation from the International Minority Rights Foundation (IMRF), led by its Chairman, Mr. Samuel Piyara, engaged in a crucial meeting with Dr. Abid, the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Faisalabad. The meeting, held in Dr. Abid's office, was marked by the presence of Dr. Rizwan, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Operations, and was convened in response to the directives issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. In response to these concerns, IMRF had taken the initiative to petition the Supreme Court of Pakistan, seeking justice and accountability for the victims affected by the incident.
During the meeting, Mr. Piyara, the Chairman of IMRF, emphasized the organization's commitment to upholding minority rights and ensuring that incidents of violence and discrimination against minority communities are thoroughly investigated and addressed. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the local authorities in Faisalabad to discuss the findings of the JIT reports.

He also emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement agencies and organizations like IMRF to promote peace, justice, and harmony in society.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to the pursuit of justice and accountability in the Jaranwala incident. The IMRF delegation expressed its hope that the findings of the JIT reports would lead to a just resolution and serve as an example of the commitment to protecting the rights of minority communities in Pakistan.
As the investigation unfolds, the outcome of this meeting holds the promise of not only addressing the specific incident but also advancing the cause of minority rights and social harmony in Pakistan
