The Sindh Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution condemning the publication of blasphemous caricatures in France.

The resolution was moved on 22 April by Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah against the cartoons and in the honour of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He said the sensitive issue should have come to an amicable conclusion.

While Syed Abdul Rashid, Jamaat-e-Islami member, demanded that the Federal Interior Minister, Sheikh Rashid, be removed.
